Museum of illustration
During the museum of illustration, I got to witness the true components that originates into design, that being one of your interest. The trip helped me to witness many abstract forms of illustration and those from books to show how far designers can go with their respectable designs, it was a fun experience. One experience that really appealed to me was David Curtis’s book cover design, what appealed to me was that he used his interests as a kid of reading books in order to go further into design which were really shows the passion for design most people choose to ignore. I worked on making book cover although I am not much of a artist when it comes to hand drawing, I worked on a book cover called “No Longer Human” by osamu dazai a Japanese author which is about a guy who goes beyond human morals.
Though my art isn’t good I used design aspects like an eye in the nose spot an nose in eye spot to showcase “No longer human” although too literary showing how the man is incapable of revealing his too self.
This art really stands out because of the color used and shows how much I could learn from by applying similiar concepts in the future.
I really liked this design because of the visual aspects and the fonts are really made to stand out properly as any poster would use. Another favorite art is:
This art is REALLY good and by far my favorite because of how artistic it is, this shows a really good talent that I wish I could watch on forever. The designs is very well made to catch the audience. Another art is:
