 During the museum of illustration, I got to witness the true components that originates into design, that being one of your interest. The trip helped me to witness many abstract forms of illustration and those from books to show how far designers can go with their respectable designs, it was a fun experience. One experience that really appealed to me was David Curtis’s book cover design, what appealed to me was that he used his interests as a kid of reading books in order to go further into design which were really shows the passion for design most people choose to ignore.   The project to recreate jacqueline aex fleurs was very difficult as well as interesting. This project enabled me to get better with brush tool which helps to enchance visual as real paintings. One of the very challenges was recreating and painting the exact blends which i could not figure out very clearly because the original is made up of paint that is blended and texturized deeply. My Approach to recreating this was to first using magic wand tool to select only one of colors being the blue background and painting blues first then moving on to the red. This made it easier, working on the face painting was more interesting because it showed me just how good people can get with paints. Overall This project was very good I am looking foward to using brush tool in the future. The brush technique involved using various texture in brush settings as well as brush size which makes things faster.   Working with Layers is the main source of usage in photoshop. Blend modes are a good way to asses the layers because it gives good visuals to future designs involving layers. The first one is normal which does nothing and stays the same but dissole there is not much difference but it dissolves making the brightness slightly good. Dissolve is the 2nd image, blend modes help change the visuals in image making it useful in designs. This could be used in future designs to help with making posters when recreating things such as in marketing.
