Webnar Reflection


The event was good for finn partners because I got to see many professionals give their personal opinions on the designs of young kids that have tried their best. What makes me pleased to see is the motivation they give to future designers that could very much make it big in the future. You could learn alot from presenting your work because alot of the tips that come to you will always answer any questions you have about a certain topic you failed to understand, this can help in the future of designs especially from a company that has worked with many other clients. The students john did very good in their design it was good how the lemon was used to his own logo name to show good creativity, and the colors were used very nicely as well as for Erick and Maria both of their logos were very outstanding and good enough for future designers, making it so the Finn partners were worthwhile taking their time to give such outstanding tips to the students. The critique that stood out to me the most was that the process in how the students did it, it was very professional going from sketching to digital roughs tweaking design many times before going to the final.

Adjustment Layers

 Adjustment layers are like effects that help for visuals in certain projects to stand out. There are many involving Hue/saturation, vibrance, channel mixer, exposure and effects such as invert and so on. Adjustment Layers are good ways to enhance your design with more than one effect.  This shows a brightness/contrast effect which helps to bring up the brightness of the image and contrast it more meaning giving more detail, adding this can help in visuals working with music posters and so on. This one shows a unique effect called channel mixer, it gives the color and helps to mix it throughout the image, this is pretty interesting because when working with things that deal with typography alongside another set of posters this could come in handy though I'm not too sure how it would go. Jacqueline aux Fleurs Picasso painting Recreation

  The project to recreate jacqueline aex fleurs was very difficult as well as interesting. This project enabled me to get better with brush tool which helps to enchance visual as real paintings. One of the very challenges was recreating and painting the exact blends which i could not figure out very clearly because the original is made up of paint that is blended and texturized deeply. My Approach to recreating this was to first using magic wand tool to select only one of colors being the blue background and painting blues first then moving on to the red. This made it easier, working on the face painting was more interesting because it showed me just how good people can get with paints. Overall This project was very good I am looking foward to using brush tool in the future. The brush technique involved using various texture in brush settings as well as brush size which makes things faster.
