Adjustment Layers
Adjustment layers are like effects that help for visuals in certain projects to stand out. There are many involving Hue/saturation, vibrance, channel mixer, exposure and effects such as invert and so on. Adjustment Layers are good ways to enhance your design with more than one effect.
This shows a brightness/contrast effect which helps to bring up the brightness of the image and contrast it more meaning giving more detail, adding this can help in visuals working with music posters and so on.This one shows a unique effect called channel mixer, it gives the color and helps to mix it throughout the image, this is pretty interesting because when working with things that deal with typography alongside another set of posters this could come in handy though I'm not too sure how it would go.
This shows a hue/saturation which increases the intensity of the color within an image, this helps give it a more solidifying look.
This image is similar to the exposure in a sense of how it increases the brightness and intensity of the image, but this one is called curves. This adjustment layer could also be another useful in designs such as making book cover.s
This one shows exposure, its exposing the brightness or light within a certain part of the image. Exposure is one of the least favorite I like because of how hard it is to control in a way.
This image shows black and white, this is my best and favorite because when dealing with black and white it also gives an illusion of a high quality image for some people and it is very and most useful in posters when dealing with concerts which really stands out to me.
This image shows the adjustment layer or effect called levels, levels help to adjust the tonal range and color balance of an image by manipulating brightness of the image.
This image shows a threshold effect which this image converts grayscale or color images into high contrast, black and white.
This image shows posterize, this as the effect says gives a posterized look, this is useful when using this effect to create portraits of an individual to add in a poster.
This shows the adjustment layer Invert, I did not understand invert until later on learning that invert flips the colors opposite of the ones in RGB and CMYK.
This represents selective color, selective color allows you to adjust specific colors in an image such as ones from CMYK by deciding on the amount that you feel could be right.
This represents color balance, color balance is used in many ways, you use it by controlling how mch amount of colors you want I used most of red a little of blue and small light green in order to show a glowing purplish vibe.
