- would you change your logo now?
My logo did very well because of the way I put the logo on my hoodie, around the chest to show the logo and how it normally works for other hoodies. Not only that but the fonts that I used for the hoodie company "HOOD" fits well with the prompt "Best Comfort". The example of the sketch I did is:
This shows the Logo, though i changed it up near the end with Hood logo being at the chest for final but for the sketch I made it so it stands out on top left of the screen. This gives a good look at the font size and subtitles for me to use in the sketch #2. The logo did well because of how well the fonts fit with the other design aspects. Another example for why it works well is the hoodie with logo printed in the center. My sketch #2 though it wasn't made that good as other I put the logo in the chest of hoodie which I could have cropped but saved that for the final one just to get the idea of how body copy would look in relation to the design. Which my final is :
did your brand research help in the making of this ad?
- Yes, my brand research helped me in the making of this ad because I was able to get a good idea of how the body copy as well as logo would fit in designs. One of the many good ones I really liked included a body copy near the side, making me copy that one in the design as well. As you can see I put the logo in the chest hoodie at bottom left. The brand research I mostly used involved logos that match along with the design such as fitting in chest for hoodie and the body copies being near the side, also involved the "20% OFF" which was also inspired and used alot in the ads you see today.
do you see your brand values in the ad?
I see my brand values in the ad, which is comfort and style. In my final design I show comfort as the main emphasis with the term itself emphasizing it as well as choosing specific hoodies that fit to the design, hoodies that are relatively aesthetically pleasing to the people in order to wear and better for winters which makes it better and adds on to my value of comfort and style so it gives more emphasis. I would not change my logo now because of how well the font and color are done as well as the way it fits into the design making it good, however there could be small changes that I could have made for the logo such as thinking of a better font however I think that the serif font fits very well to the design and would look well to the eye when put into the hoodie.
